A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)Rose: I don’t imagine that Rose has had many genuine connections with the people she sleeps with, like she does with Luisa. Saying that, she’s a master manipulator and a good actress, and I think she would be very good at aftercare, even if her heart isn’t in it. At the beginning of their relationship, and especially while she was still with Emilio, when they had to be very secretive, I can see aftercare with Luisa being very rare. It’d be self-preservation, maybe, because if she doesn’t let herself be soft and gentle and loving toward Luisa in those moments, she’s easier to kick out of her bed. She’s not the kind of character that I imagine experiences any kind of shame in taking what she wants, in bed. If a partner were to look at her strangely and ask, ‘you want that?’ she’d sooner smile and tell them, ‘baby, let me show you how good it feels,’ than become self-conscious.
